Halloween!
We did some fun Science Experiments for Halloween! We blew up a Ghost Balloon using 1/2 cup of vinegar in a bottle then 4 tsp of baking soda in a balloon. We, of course, had to do this twice, it was very exciting for the kids! Then we also let off Ghost Rockets. These consisted of a little bit of corn starch in the bottom of a film canister, then we filled the canister about 1/3 of the way up with water. We took them outside and each kid put alka selser (one piece broken into 4 pieces) in their canister. We put the lids on and set them on the sidewalk lid down. It doesn't take long and the canisters shoot up in the air. This was so fun but I didn't get good pictures of it!
What a fun and very cute group of kids!

2018 School Year: September
We started school last week! I added quite a few new elements to my classroom (kitchen!) this year. Among other things one of my favorites is a cute wooden sign my husband made me out of wood and then I painted to hang on our mailbox.
My new class of kids are super cute and sweet! They are all excited to learn and are doing a great job!
